WHAT YOU SHOULD ASK ABOUT WHENYOU CALL … OTHER KENNELS!

• Play Times. Most other kennels WILL charge you extra for playtimes, and here at Dogwood Critter Country all Playtimes are INCLUDED, in the price we charge you!
• Food & Feeding. This can be very confusing, as it varies from kennel to kennel. Some kennel will charge you extra for feeding their own kennel food, while other kennels will actually charge you extra if they have to feed the food YOU provide! Besides all that, some kennels will charge you extra if they have to feed your dog more than ONCE A DAY! Again, here at Dogwood Critter Country, we DO NOT charge anything extra either way, and we don’t charge extra no matter how many times a day you request your dog be fed!
• Treats. Most kennels charge extra even if YOU provide the treats, and one kennel we personally contacted told us they charge FIVE DOLLARS PER TREAT! We charge nothing either way, and with your permission we are always happy to give your little furry friend a treat at least once a day or more, FOR FREE!
• Medications. This is an extremely important one, and probably should have been listed as number one on the list! Almost every kennel we’ve ever contacted charges something for giving medications, and almost none of them are willing to give anything but “oral” medications to any pet. Here at Dogwood Critter Country we have several customers who have pets that are diabetic and require insulin injections. We are qualified to give them, and we DO NOT charge anything extra to do it!
• Bedding & Toys. This too varies from kennel to kennel as some allow bedding, and some not, while some have limitations on the size or type of bedding they will allow! Here at Dogwood, 9we have no such restrictions, and we will even PROVIDE bedding for your pet FREE OF CHARGE, if you so desire! We also have a wide assortment of toys we offer for free for their use while they are here, as well as retail toys you can purchase at very reasonable prices.
• Pickup & Drop Off. Many, many kennels have specific times you can either drop off or pick up your pets, and any variation from those times will automatically incur an additional charge! Here at Dogwood you can pick up OR drop off your pet any time we are open for business, and our nightly charges are just like a “people hotel” with a noon check out time before you are charged for an additional day’s boarding.
