Dogwood Critter Country was established in 1996 as Dogwood Kennels. Back then we were located just off of Hanna Rd. behind the Oak Ridge North Municipal Building on Robinson Rd. In 2004 we changed our name to Dogwood Critter Country, and moved to our current location off of Robinson Rd, just 2/10th's of a mile east of Hanna and the railroad tracks. We have been family owned and operated for over 14 years now, and in that time we have boarded and cared for literally thousands of dogs, cats and other pets. Our goal and our mission statement is to strive to care for each and every pet that stays with us, just as if that pet belonged to us, and that pet was a member of our own personal family.

Spring Break is behind us now, but the end of school and summer vacation is fast approaching!

 

Our next major Holiday is of course Memorial Day - Monday, May 31st

 

Since we are already beginning to fill up fast, we suggest you book ahead now! Also keep in mind that we are CLOSED on that national Monday holiday!

 

OH, and the 4th of July will be here before you know it as well!

We are offering 1/2 OFF the normal price of $15 for bathing a short hair dog and $20 for a long hair dog, for any customer who books for a four nights or better stay! This offer is good from Saturday May 1st to Monday May 31st (Memorial day) Four+ night stays that extend from May into June are also included in this offer!

Boarding - Training - And More ! Although boarding of Dogs and cats is our primary business, we also board other animals and pets as well. Many of our customers have such pets as Guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, birds, and the list goes on and on. The pricing for boarding pets other than dogs and cats is established differently in each case, and you must call or stop by to discuss those rates.

 

Besides pet boarding, dog training is another large part of our business. We specialize in basic obedience training, offering several different training options. We also offer puppy training, as well as other types of training and we suggest you call or stop by to discuss those other options as well.

 

Although at this time we do not offer actual grooming services, we do offer bathing, nail trimming, and some additional services related to grooming. Once again please stop by or call for pricing.
